We Tell the history of the Jewish community of Kenosha through the medium of Jewish arts and education

To further enrich the visitor’s experience, Jewish art from the beginning of the Synagogue’s founding, with descriptions below, are displayed throughout the Museum.

Reading Programs

OSMK offers Jewish readings of the Old Testament and international literature with significance. Once a month Sunday nights 18:30-20:00, free of charge.


Join us at OSMK once a month, Thursday nights, at 19:30. to enjoy klezmer music.
5$ per person for entrance fee, food and drink.

The museum offers a tour of the historical Synagogue and the neighborhood, and the impact the Jewish community had on Kenosha, WI.



The Synagogue tour​

The Synagogue tour includes history of Synagogue with general overview of traditional services, history specifically of this building and jews in Kenosha. Visitors have an exceptional experience visiting one of Kenosha’s oldest synagogues. With a rich history and heritage almost the same furnishings from 100 years ago, this time capsule of a synagogue allows visitors to relive Kenosha’s Jewish historical community.

This tour includes Jewish sites and neighborhoods.



Between the past and the present

Visit the OSMK Building and meet the Rabbi afterwards.
